Southern Bourbon Baked Beans

A little boozy bean recipe, it doesn’t get any better! Serves 4 to 6.

Ingredients

Thick Turkey Bacon (Cut Into 1” Slices)
5 slices
Red Onion (Chopped)
½ whole
Garlic (Minced)
1 clove
Water
1 cup
BBQ Sauce
½ cup
Brown Sugar
⅓ cup
Ketchup
¼ cup
Bourbon
½ cup
Ground Mustard
¾ tsp
Apple Cider Vinegar
⅛ cup
Worcestershire Sauce
1 tbsp
Chipotle In Adobo (Minced)
1 piece
Chipotle In Adobo Sauce
1 tbsp
Great Northern Beans (Drained and rinsed)
2 cans
Cayenne
1 dash

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  • In large Dutch oven cook bacon and onion over medium heat, for about 8 minutes. Toss in garlic and take off heat.
  • Add remaining and mix gently.
  • Bake 40 minutes. Let cool a few minutes before serving.
