Southern Crustless Buttermilk Pie

Classic Southern dessert, super simple and delicious!

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Mix all until blended.
  • Pour into well buttered 9” pie dish.
  • Bake 15 minutes, reduce heat to 325 degrees.
  • Bake another 35 to 40 minutes. Pie should not wiggle in the center.
  • Cool about ten minutes.
  • Cut with serrated pie server.

Chef's Notes

  • Make this dish gluten free using gluten free flour.
  • Make this with a crust if desired.  Add batter to pie crust and bake per recipe instructions.

Optional Garnishes:

  • Your favorite berries
  • Homemade whipped cream
  • Homemade Crème Fraiche
