Red Pepper & Swiss Cheese Pastry

Red Pepper Jelly & Swiss Cheese Puff Pastry

Who doesn’t love a puff pastry appetizer? This one is a little different, that looks way more impressive that the time it takes to put it together, with a little spice to boot! Serves 6 to 8.

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • On floured surface, roll out pastry to the size of a half sheet pan (or use a full sheet pan if you don’t have and adjust accordingly). Place pastry on parchment lined pan.
  • Spread red pepper jelly to almost the edges. Top with Swiss slices. Bring edges up about an inch or so and press lightly to secure fold. Brush edges with heavy cream. Sprinkle with salt.
  • Bake 25 minutes or until pastry is golden and cheese is completely melted. Set aside for a few minutes. Garnish with parsley. Cut to squares & serve warm or room temperature.
