Meet Dana!
I like to cook mostly healthy, but I don’t shy away from the occasional indulgent ingredient, I’m talking about you heavy cream! But my other passion is running, so I like to think there’s a bit of a balance somewhere there! My dishes are simple enough for a weeknight meal, but definitely guest worthy, a little fussy without the fuss, somewhat classic with a twist.
I live in Dallas, and in case you didn’t know, Dallas is a huge foodie town. There’s a saying in Texas:
“I wasn’t born here but I got here as soon as I could.”
Well, for me, I wasn’t a foodie when I moved here, but I got there as soon as I could! Being introduced to new recipes and restaurant dishes, I find myself saying “I can do that” and then trying to recreate it in my own kitchen. I hope I can inspire you to do the same, expand your recipe repertoire, and find some helpful hints along the way.
